To attend this course you must be:
*At least 18 years of age (You cannot apply for the license until the age of 21)
* Possess a valid Firearm Owner Identification Card (F.O.I.D. CARD) (or apply during the 1st day of class)
* Possess a valid Illinois State Identification or Drivers License
*Not be prohibited by State or Federal Laws from legally possessing a firearm.
*Physically capable of safely and effectively operating a firearm
At the completion of the 16 Hour, or 3 Hour course you will receive a “Certificate of Course Completion” hard copy and digital one sent to your email address which is required for the Illinois Concealed Carry license application. In addition, our students will also receive course completion for the following: NRA Basic Pistol Instruction certification.
At the completion of the 4 Hour State of Utah Concealed Carry Permit course you will receive a certification that will allow you to apply for permit respectively and upon approval, carry a concealed weapon in an additional 33 states.
Completion of the 4 Hour State of Wisconsin Concealed Carry Permit course you will receive a certification that will allow you to apply for permit respectively and upon approval.
Our course fee is all-inclusive and covers everything (excluding the fingerprints)
The fingerprinting will be conducted by an Illinois Licensed Fingerprint LiveScan Vendor at a cost of $55.00 for the Illinois Concealed Carry License and $25.00 for the additional costs of the Utah fingerprint cards.
Our 16-hour and 3-hour courses are designed to satisfy the State of Illinois’s requirements to obtain an Illinois Concealed Carry License. Our courses will fulfill both classroom and gun range requirements and will prepare our students on safe gun handling and the practical range proficiency requirements, which consists of scoring no less than 70% with a total of 30 rounds with 10 rounds fired at a distance of 5 yards (15 feet); 10 rounds fired at a distance of 7 yards (21 feet); and 10 rounds fired at 10 yards (30 feet). The shooting requirement can be completed using a SCCY 9mm caliber handgun or you can bring your own.
